More on the artist

My collage works are pieces of lived life.

The subjects are a testimony to having been physically somewhere or thematic to represent a mental or emotional attendance in celebration of personal or universal concepts.

A number of artists who came before me like Picasso, Duchamp, Nevelson, and Hirst to name a few also utilized found objects.

I collect as I go and when I stop and notice the intricacies of connections between what’s collected and my ideas I can create my form of expression visually.

I give my conversations ‘life’ by using the language of art. Thereby, the product of these works could be a statement or a question in my vocabulary that is an ‘articulate’ in the use or re-use of found objects or materials.

By connecting shapes, texture, color, form or line a ‘new’ expression is born with sometimes its orginal heritage acting to spark the universal intent and sometimes the spark is missed infavor of what the viewer already knows.
