Peace It Together

A collaborative community art event inspired by Gustav Klimt’s The Kiss.

Participating artists will each receive a unique section of the iconic image and reinterpret it on a 12 x 12 inch canvas paper, creating a collective work made up of individual voices and styles.

Materials such as acrylic paint, pastels, and collage supplies will be provided. Artists are also welcome to bring their own materials, with the exception of oil paints or any materials that produce strong fumes.

The event will take place on February 8th from 12–2 PM. Finished works will be exhibited as part of Art as a Love Language, on view February 14th–March 1st, with an opening reception on February 14th at 6 PM.

Come be part of a shared act of making, connection, and reinterpretation—where many hands piece love together.
