Roost Arts Hudson Valley has awarded a total of over $12,000 in scholarships, ranging from $250 to $1,000, to talented high school and college students. Recipients receive a cash award to support their artistic growth and a complimentary one-year membership to Roost Arts.

Award details
Awarding body: Roost Arts, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to building community through the arts.
Purpose: To support talented students in the visual arts and help them fund their creative pursuits.
Award amount: Awards have ranged from $250 to $1,000 per student in recent years.
Recipients: Since 2016, Roost Arts has awarded scholarships to 24 students.
Benefits: In addition to the cash award, recipients receive a one-year complimentary membership to Roost Arts, which includes the opportunity to display their artwork on the Roost ARTS HUDSON VALLEY website.
Eligibility: The scholarship is open to high school and college-level students, with specific competitions often focusing on local students, such as those from New Paltz High School and SUNY New Paltz.

A tradition in New Paltz since 2016 Roost Arts Hudson Valley returns with an array of petite paintings for your enjoyment this holiday season. The show opens with a gala celebration party at our location at 122 Main St. in New Paltz NY. This year we will be featuring over 100 “Petite Paintings”. Each comes with its own tiny easel!
Artists all over the Hudson Valley, New York city and beyond have donated gorgeous art!!
Come and enjoy the party, delicious holiday treats, live music and some bubbly.
Schmooze with the artists, friends, family and the whole community.
