Siena Andreini

I aim to create functional and accessible ceramic work that has the power to bring happiness to people. I focus on work that conveys feelings of comfort to the user. I enjoy including familiar illustrations and patterns that bring my mind stability, such as simple stripes or polka dots. I hope to one day open my own cafe and ceramics studio that people can use as a third space to relax and spend time with themselves and the pottery.

Pottery has helped me learn so much about myself. I have learned patience, grief, strength, forgiveness, love, and discipline through this medium, and I want others to learn to feel this as well. Every piece that I make is a time capsule of my touch, a concept that provides me comfort and stability, but also a world of new possibilities. In teaching others, I believe that these new possibilities will expand due to the social nature of my creative process. I will always find joy in seeing others use and love my pottery. I am very passionate about this medium, and I am forever curious about all that it has to offer.
