Donna Napolitano

When she was three years old, her parents celebrated her artistic efforts and proudly told her that she was an artist.  Crayola and finger paints were her mediums of choice. It has been many years since then, but her love of color and creation has not faltered.  With a BS in Art Education, MS in Education/Special Education, as well as a CAS in Education Administration, she became an art teacher and Fine Arts Coordinator in a small city school district before moving into administrative positions. Since retirement, she has exchanged her crayons for oil, acrylic, gouache and casein. She paints regularly and has shown and sold her work through the Woodstock School of Art, Wurtsboro Arts Alliance, Wallkill Center for the Arts, and Roost Arts in New Paltz. She participates in many local paint outs, plein air events and fundraisers.
