David Richard

Artist Biography

David Richard is an author, painter, poet, photographer and

songwriter. He credits his mentor, John Diamond, M.D., for

helping to nurture and inspire his creativity. He practices

Action Meditation, by example, as much as possible in his

creative endeavors. 

What I create only passes through me, whether I admit it or

not. The more I surrender to the seed of conception and the

life it brings forth in me, the easier and more successful the

birth.

I love the spontaneous and free, the decayed and transient,

the Eternal and Beautiful. I love color but find grounding

in simple black and white. I love the small bits of Nature –

here, there, everywhere!

David has exhibited paintings and photographs in IL, CT, NY and PA.
