Felicia Casey

A graphic designer and avid gardener and today after a 30 year commercial art career, my creative spirit thrives.

My art can be graceful, often fanciful and is always energetic. Done in mixed media, pastel/ watercolor/ ink, all works are on paper or canvas and are relatively small. I avidly create a few a day. I live, paint and tend garden in the Hudson Valley, N Y, my birth place. My greatest inspiration is Nature. My garden the weeds, the flowers, the tiny lives on a leaf in the soil. It supplies the wonder and pattern that I try to capture. My abstract "Botanicals" are a journey into the microscopic thriving world at our feet. I hope that they are each fun in some way. They are a joy to create.
